Hansen Posing with a Hunting Prize

Two women killed by the same man, Alaskan serial killer Robert Hansen, and both remain unidentified. Hansen killed at least 17 women in/around Anchorage, Alaska between 1971–1983.

Hansen was born on February 15, 1939 in Iowa. As a child he was a loner and took refuge in hunting and archery. He was skinny, stuttered, and had acne which led to his rejection by the girls throughout his years in school. This rejection caused Hansen to hate women. Hansen followed in his father’s footsteps to become a baker, hence his moniker “The Butcher Baker”. In 1957 Hansen enlisted in the Army…

On July 10, 1991 a gunshot rang out from room 121 of the Whitehall Motel in El Dorado, Arkansas. A man was seen fleeing the scene with a gun in his hand, and he…

2018 NCMEC Reconstruction

On July 31, 1960 a teacher named Russell Allen was out collecting rocks near Congress, Arizona just off Old Alamo Road (1.5 miles from Highway 93) when he stumbled upon the partially buried body of a little girl in the creek bed of a sand wash. The pathologist estimated that she had been dead for 1–2 weeks and, due to severe decomposition, most of the details vary from source to source. Her initial age estimate was between 5–7 years old, but it was later found that she had a full set of milk teeth (baby teeth) which put her age…

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Reconstruction

On January 28, 2012 the skeletal remains of a young African-American girl were found behind a trailer park in the 1700 block of Hurst Street in Opelika, Alabama.
